Again on the bright side. We gifted 17 points to UL between turnovers and coaching blunders.

And only gave up 7 more.

It did help Louisville mismanaged timeouts and bad coaching decisions in their part not too mention turnovers.

But we won.

Defense played more than good enough. Hard to defend the short field.

Again showing our struggles on O. Our line is a mess and our QB is dink and dunk at best. D is solid

A 15-20 team and again only minor bowl worthy. Not good in year 3.

And didn't get any help from the referees

It seemed as if Louisville were getting very favorable spots, and we weren't.

Also, the ruling where they said that Shough's arm was going forward on that fumble was very generous. While it may ever so slightly be technically correct, it certainly wasn't indisputable proof for an overturn that led to those 3 points.

I've seen many plays like that get called a fumble and not overturned.

We certainly got help too

The offsetting PI call was a benefit to the Irish, for example.

That was an incomplete pass no question. Arm moving forward.

I think Louisville got screwed on the 3rd down play Before the end of the 1st half. The 4th down was short for sure

As far as the pass/fumble they should let the fumble play out and make the correction in the booth for a pass

The ball might have been out of his hand prior to his arm moving forward. It was close. It went

against us and may have been the right call, but it was so close I was surprised it was overturned.
