You, oldirish and other super-fans are really consistent in your "I actually hate ND" rhetoric.

They are not in AP. They were 25 last week but not this week.
I love the fact I am concerned about our SOS makes me a bad fan. What a fucking joke.
At the end of the season who we have played matters greatly. Sadly A&M plays a very tough schedule. They will lose 1-2 more at least. They still have Missouri, LSU and Texas.
USC should be safe since they only have Penn State before they play us. They have played one ranked team so far and lost.
We have to win out. Plain and simple.
and if they beat Missouri and/or LSU at home they'll jump up and likely have a 10-2 or 9-3 season.

Specifically look at AP
Others (like Clem) seem to have an issue but I usually ignore him anyway.
A&M didn't go from #24 with 77 votes to receiving zero votes in a week that they beat Arkansas.
They actually increased from 77 votes to 122 votes which is the same number as UNLV. The link on ESPN page is accurately reflecting the tie at #25, while AP website coding appears to need on update.

the final rankings of course, are based on what a team has achieved. Early in the year everyone is confident and optimistic and as the year goes on we learn about team chemistry, determination and ability to finish. Highly rated early teams have potential for an occasional upset win over a ranked team at year end. It is all fun and as long as we make the top 12 we have a chance. Obviously better to be ranked higher.
Obviously if TAM can continue to win they will be in Top 25 and even Top 15…it’s questionable in my mind that they can run table and likely will finish with 3-4 losses…Missouri this week will be their first test since us..
They don't just warm up there Macs when it's time for their first ranking and make their "OH MY" face at who they 'find out' is good while evaluating all information available to that point equally.
They are human and humans do human things, like being influenced by things they already know about such as the AP and Coaches poll.
No one will ever convince me they aren't biased by the rankings already in place when they start theirs.
I don’t think TAM will do better than 9-3 or 8-4
The SEC is just too good and I don’t consider TAM and upper tier SEC team.
they only have 3 good teams left and both Mizz and LSU go to College Station, then they go to Texas.

last 20 years. The are statistically more likely to be less than an 8-win team than more than.
