Lots of knees. Just coincidence or is there a causal effect? Regardless, just sucks.

Less lower leg injuries on grass than field turf

But then how would we have concerts in a football stadium without field turf?

Also, less lower leg injuries with shoes other than those made by a sports spandex company.

Yet grass yields less injuries. And the players overwhelmingly prefer grass. It is a cardinal sin that the Cathedral of College Football uses fake grass.

Do you remember what the grass field ended up looking like as the season rolled on?

Somehow they make it work in East Lansing, Evansville, Browns Stadium, Heinz Field, Lambeau Field. It can be done. We certainly have the resources to do it right.

But we never did and the field was a disaster

I wonder which venture has made the university the most cabbage?

with a QB playing out of his mind, especially with all the injuries.

Kudos across the board to the lads and coaches for finding a way to get it done. Go Irish!!!

Agree. This was an excellent win with freshman against a really good team.

Leonard Moore, Aneyas Williams, Bryce Young, Loghan Thomas, Kennedy Urlacher, Anthonie Knapp, etc., are all getting significant playing time, and that almost always bodes very well for the future. By the year's end, I wouldn't be surprised if a large percentage of that class gets playing time, since they're stepping it up and producing results.

I wouldn't be surprised if Guerby Lambert is seen on the field sooner rather than later. Given how thin we are at the OL, and how polished he was coming out of high school, he may very well end up being a stalwart.
