Especially considering it also featured a healthy Conner Weigman. Not sure what to make of the Louisville/SMU game. SMU appears to have a solid offense.

At best they will finish with 3 losses.
Doubt he goes there and gets a W this year.
ND is going to lose again this season, maybe more.

They took out TCU and FSU, and if it weren't for a screwjob by the referees (didn't call blatant holding), the BYU loss would have easily flipped to a win. They're going to do just fine in the ACC, especially since it's not quite as strong as it was just a few years ago. .
Coach Lashlee did a pretty good job of bringing in decent talent via transfer portal (20+ guys), and almost all of them were from Power 4 teams. That, plus RJ Maryland (son of former Miami Hurricanes DT Russell Maryland) looks to be a legit pro prospect at TE.
they are going to do just fine.
SMU raised $100 million in one week.
They are "all in."
In this day and age, what they did in 1987 that got the "death penalty" would be perfectly legal.
Probably open a whore house on the edge of campus as a bonus
New stadium coming soon!

A Louisville win today would be great for ND's SOS.

Do the rest of the season? Do we need Tamu or Sc to win out or at least look good?
I think we are definitely in if we win out regardless what our opponents do, but having A&M, Louisville, and USC all in that 10 win range and in contention for playoff spots will help us get the 7-8 seed and play the 1st round game at home.
And start grabbing the 9-12 seeds with one loss
You need Alabama to still win the SEC
You need Tennessee to lose again
The SEC and Big 10 are going to hog a lot of the seeds
Not sure Freeman can win out. Like you said (or someone said) his winning 10’in a row is highly unlikely
