there's probably enough meat on that bone for discussion.
and designed plays does not make him a dual threat, and his passing speaks for itself. The next time he runs an RPO will be the first. He works his ass off and does many good things, but that does not make him a dual threat QB
The simple truth is that he's a high level runner who can kill you with his legs and when he's on his game (which we haven't seen a lot of yet) he has the arm to hurt you if you try to come up to take away the run.
This is at its roots what a dual threat QB is...anything beyond that is just levels of how good they are.
It's been a rocky run for Leonard so far, I'm not denying or dismissing that. However, if you look at his play in the early part of the Louisville game before he got smashed by that DL on what should have been a penalty, he was playing high level football with his feet and his arm.
That period shows you what he's capable of when he's on...imo it's on the coaches to get that out of him more consistently, or get Angeli some pt and let Leonard watch for a while until he gets his head right.
we went conservative and he got banged up.

elite running QB that has to scare DC's...he's definitely getting better...you're jumping to conclusions...and BVZ is right about the OL being more of a concern than RL. Let's keep our fingers crossed that no more injuries crop up there.

....but the OL has been decimated. The OL is the real issue here. The guys are good, but being pressed into service far too early and without a chance for cohesion.
Let's wait and see.
