Many here love to scream about NIL when we lose a recruit. Well, we just flipped a 4 star from Clemson and NIL had to be part of that equation. You can’t have it both ways.
I think it comes down to how much a program is willing to invest (hate using the word ‘invest’ in the context of college football) in the respective positions. That’s why we’re seeing the rise of the GM position.
I don’t like it, but it is what college football has become.
Acknowledging there are two sides to the same coin is not a common practice here.

Clemson wanted him, so did Auburn, Iowa, Virginia, and several other respectable schools.
The kid has a pretty good arm when it comes to strength and accuracy, with a consistent delivery. Rest assured, we're not getting a noodle-armed QB.
He's more of a pass-first, run-second type of "dual threat," and isn't the type to take off running too early.
New England HS Football not the best in the land. Hope this kid is a man among boys!
