Morrison himself was speaking very highly of Moore back in August.
Christian Gray can shifted to boundary cornerback (he was most likely going to take Morrison's place next year at BCB), so this may very well be the right opportunity for Moore to play field cornerback and let him cut his teeth at that position.
Moore already started a game at FCB this year back when Gray was out with a shoulder injury, against a pretty good Louisville passing game (7 tackles), so it's not as if he's completely green.

If he needs time to show that he's healthy, it's slightly possible, but given how he was already at the top of his game, I doubt it.
He was already listed as the #2 CB in the nation. If the surgery went well, and he's given a clean bill of health, he'd easily be drafted in the early part of Rd 1.
