A lot of the starters were resting, and it wouldn't make any sense to risk further injury to the players, even if they were 2nd stringers.
Besides, even if GT had tried for an onsides kick, somehow recovered, and then tried to keep playing, they only had 20 seconds left or so, and the clock would have kept running.
I'll take this victory gladly. We won by 3 scores even with the garbage time TD, and the defense still played well, despite not having our best player. If anything, Leonard Moore had a really good game in place of Morrison (7 tackles, 2 PBU, 1 TFL). Not too shabby as a true freshman playing the tough boundary cornerback position. There were times he was one on one, and handled their best receiver very well.
Don't really care much
Do not want another starter injured.
2s and 3s in the game though. Doubtful 1s give that up.
