Per NFL.com:
"Two touchdowns today gave RB Kyren Williams 24 scrimmage touchdowns since the start of last season, which is the most in the NFL, according to ESPN Research. Sunday was Williams' seventh game of multiple scrimmage touchdowns in that span, which is also the most in the NFL"
The man can do it all (run for power, run with evasion, pass block, pass route running, great hands), and it's great to see his having success at the next level.
I wish that Brian Kelly / Tommy Rees would have let him play a lot more in 2019, instead of forcing him to take a redshirt. Coming out of high school, he was actually very well versed in the passing game, and was a very good pass blocker even before he stepped on campus.
I loved Tony Jones for what he did for us, but having another back in there who could take the load off would have been very nice.
I don't know if that's something that can be trained or practice. I think of guys like Marcus Allen and Gerald Riggs.....good backs with a lot of skills, but they just seem to get it done near the goalline, and it's unclear what their secret sauce is. They just do it.
As a chiefs fan, even as an older back, every 3rd and short was a near guaranteed first down with MA.
