Have said before...at some point in the evolution of college football into a fully paid professional sport...Notre Dame will have to step away from attempting to compete at the top level with schools that have fully abandoned even the pretense of academics....
ND just started an in-house NIL operation.
They seem fully engaged in this new world of college athletics.

And then what we have. A great school but located in the midwest, not exactly the cultural
capital of the world. Anyone who is adequately intelligent can get a good education anyplace if you take the responsibility serious. I don't ever want to give up or settle for something less than competing with the best on the football field. Sorry our reputation is great but it is far greater with football interest sprinkled in.
