ND doesn’t suck.
Riley is improving.
Freeman is a great coach in many areas and improving in others.
Our defense is elite.
Offense isn’t elite but improving this season.
This is how I feel but in reality Navy played very poorly which absolutely changed the dynamic of the game. In my opinion ND wins today even without the help from Navy but it’s certainly not a blowout without the mistakes made by Navy.

Perhaps the reason that many are so ‘sensitive’ as you tab them, is because they are perpetually inundated with commentary regarding the deficiencies of the team. Does that make them homers? Sure! I am a homer. Fair comments are fine, but the never ending drumbeat gets old.

I think the announcers clouded your mind. They kept saying how Navy was averaging 10 yds per play. I saw them gain 10 yards on two plays all game, a 60+ yard run and a 40+ yard run.
Navy couldn't do anything else all game. Maybe a 5 yard play here or there. Sure Navy got to midfield a couple times but it's not like they were marching 80 yards every drive before fucking up.
ND put pressure on them and played faster than any team they've seen this or even last year. Navy couldn't respond and got their asses beat.
I was there, the D was hitting them hard and flying around...

Sadly a win against Navy isn’t likely to move us up anywhere unless someone ahead of us loses in the 6+ level. If TAM beats LSU TAM likely jumps us. Indiana could jump us. That’s reality.
