Not sure how ND won any games with Pyne and Buchner. I almost think our offensive staff
deserves a ton of credit for being able to get as much out of them as they did. (Now all that is mute, because their QB recruiting was awful.)
Watching Pyne play for Mizzou is sad. He is not able to play at this level and Buchner did not do much better at Bama. Both are great people and appreciate what they did for ND, but what would have happened if we had an elite QB in '22.
It kinda helps you understand why the staff has stuck with the portal QB option.... there has to be some PTSD from that season!

We didn't even need an elite quarterback, just one who could make at least a medium range downfield throw with accuracy and not make a lot of boneheaded decisions.
