The team that can win 4 in a row against top competition must have incredible depth.

ND’s education gives our team incredible depth…just not the kind that was being referenced……..

I was just joking.

I was thinking more about wear and tear.

Georgia probably has a lot more high quality subs if their staters suffer injuries.

Thread Level: 2

According to the stats sheet only 3 ND wide-outs have caught balls...

Kris Mitchell - 13
Jayden Thomas - 11
KK Smith - 3

So no WR is averaging at least 2 catches per game.
What was the last NC team without a stable of dominant wide-outs?

Not correct...

Just off the top of my head, I know Greathouse and Faison have receptions. Maybe even Colzie.

Liberty is an opportunity for doing good, but only when it is also an opportunity for doing wrong...

Thanks for the correction. I missed that block on the roster sheet. Additions...

Beaux Collins - 28
Jordan Faison - 8
Deion Colzie - 2
Tyler Buchner - 1

So Collins is the leader at 3.5 catches per game.

Is the total production sufficient for an NC team?

Crazier things have happened, but I don't think our O and is quite there. D can't do it all.

Ayup, but we shall see how it plays out. It has improved. It needs to continue to do so.

Agree with that, but you open with "Where’s MF’s National Championship?"

NIU.

Let's hope we make the playoffs before we daydream about winning it. It isn't hard to imagine that this will be view as the worst loss of any team in consideration. On top of that, we have to pray that A&M continues its run as it will likely be the only quality win re: the other teams in consideration who will have more than that.

This team has to get a whole lot better on offense (i.e., Leonard) before I'm going to engage in any nirvana.

Though it does seem like Leonard has suddenly snapped out of his run first mindset albeit against a weak team.

Lets see him do that agains the three letter teams and I will be a true believer.

Thread Level: 3

Completely agree. The offense is far from championship calibre.
