Even in the last 20 seconds of the game, they had 3rd down at the Washington 14 yard line.

Turned it over on downs. Riley should have kicked the fg, SC would have likely won as the game ended with them in the red zone again.
They don't have a run game, and Riley doesn't seem to even try establishing one.
