Prior to this year I didn't even know or care which conference SMU ended up in. They have a great
offense. I think Louisville is better than most people perceive also. They have good players at the skill positions. I think we are the sleeper team and may surprise.

and when Bama took their second loss they dropped far and had to work their way back up.

Funny, if you look at my "Ranking & Seeding Revised" post a little lower in this thread..
my revised Top 15 is nearly identical to what came out in the new coaches poll, except they have ND and BYU reversed and GA and Ol Miss reversed.
I realize that isn't the playoff ranking, but I think it will be very close to being the same.
How do you drop Georgia farther than Miami?

I think the committee has some interesting decisions to make.
I understand the one loss vs two losses but Georgia was ranked higher than Miami to start with and had a "better" loss this week. Miami has had to scramble for a bunch of their wins which is likely why Ga was ranked above them.
Agree, but they were #3 & #4..just looking at order of 6 SEC teams still in playoff contention..
