We may not be the most athletic or dominant, but every player seems to know where to be in position and how to execute.
albeit better of late, needs to improve.....way too many whiffs. On offense, over the past 8 years again has improved with upgrades in RB & OL talent; however, lack of big play making WRs and star QB has limited ND's overall success!
So maybe tackling someone in general is just plain hard.

And a lot of the "missed" tackles I see are where the guy barely has a hand on him. As oldirish said, offensive skill position players are much more dynamic and agile than even 20 years ago.
his hard, but harder in 2024 than in 1954 when people literally just ran at each other and not dynamically around people.
Just look what Sequan Barkley did last Sunday. That type of stuff NEVER happened before. How do you tackle a guy that can jump backwards over your head at a height of 6'+?
