It’s a bad way to do business, especially when the reality of the play has been subpar 80% of the season.
Slippery slope, and I generally don’t often agree with Goolsby. His point. Is valid here, though VERY passive aggressive.

Perhaps he should try lip reading next time
He's never been a coach in his life yet he wants to opine about a big nothing sandwich.
Goolsby is making up stuff from his very cheap seats.
but here he is creating controversy for the sake of "being the first one to notice it" when "it" hasn't even had any other instance to suggest it's validity.
It could be true, but with just this to go on, it most likely is not. Thus, putting it out there now was premature and potentially harmful.....and imo, you don't do that unless you are sure, not when you are still guessing which is what he is doing at this point.

managed the entire process better, and not brought in any portal QBs, we could have had a QB consistent lineage that rivals the plug-and-play nature of the QB system that USC had in their glory days. The Leinart era.
I'm not saying we'd have had that level of QBs but the transitions would have been much smoother and we'd avoided a lot of the bumps and loss along the way.
We would have avoided the annual let's start over again with an unknown at QB - the most critical position on the team.
Biggest issue is bad/lazy recruiting. We didn’t recruit a stud until CJ. If Buchner or Pyne were my choices I can see why they took Coan and Hartman. Do not understand Leonard. I would have given Angeli his shot. Leonard like Buchner can’t hit the broad side of a barn.
No wonder we did so much portal dipping there.
