Hindsight is 20/20, for sure, but it's a video definitely worth watching.
"Notre Dame Was RIGHT About Brian Kelly All Along..."
He basically summarizes what this board has been saying for a while now, but it's nice to hear. He also admits that he was a Brian Kelly apologist while he was here.
In a nutshell, he points out that Brian Kelly basically does at LSU what Kelly did here, where 10 win seasons were the norm, but failing to get over the hump.
He also mentions how Tom Lemming ripped on him pretty hard.

the same shit go on at LSU proves to me I was dead wrong. He may have done better if he stayed one more year because Marcus was cleaning up his shortfall recruiting issues, but I said similar things every year. At least with Marcus you get 100% of him, even if his game management has been a bit faulty, that can improve. With laziness or priorities wrong though, that is more of a character issue which is almost impossible to improve upon for Kelly.
He was Boston, Irish-Catholic; central casting for coaching the Fighting Irish. A dream job for a person with his background, but that didn't matter to him.
Notre Dame was patient with him after his 2016 train wreck season. He made millions at ND. At his age, it should have been his last job, and he could have then retired gracefully. He had more than enough money.
But, no!
Go for the gold! Uproot your family and go to a place where you don't fit in or belong. And why not put on a phony accent when you get there, you phony bastard.
Big Game Brian always lived up to his name. He always got whacked when all of the chips were on the line. LSU found out the hard way. If they launch him now, it will cost them $60.8M.
But Brian doesn't give a shit now; he won the lottery, which is what matters most to him.

If they were, he would never have been here for 12 years.
Kelly was necessary when he came here.
5 or 6 years was enough though…
what players inside the program had to say about all things Kelly.
