The ND offense will be the key. The defense is very good, but we can’t expect them to shut out teams
like Oregon, Ohio St., Ole Miss, etc. It’s hard to judge since we haven’t had the toughest schedule. Just trying to be objective and my biggest question is can ND out score the other big boys that have productive offenses? I’ve seen this too many times where ND gets matched up against a good team and they struggle to score 20 points in such games. That’s the past, so time will tell. Just have to keep taking care of business and get to the playoffs first.

If you look back at the past NC teams, most of them won shootouts and they were playing against some
really great defenses loaded with NFL talent. Gotta being able to score lots of points.
