I'd love to see better passing, but that isn't the offense this year.
O-line = finalists for the Joe Moore Award even though they lost 3 starters
Riley has 13 rushing TDs (10th in nation, 3rd for QBs) and ~650 yards rushing (Top for P4 QBS). He has 6,34 ypc (15th in nation). He's only thrown 12 TDs, but also only 4 picks. He is 13th for total Touchdowns.
We have 3 RBs who would play on any team in the country.
I watched the Oregon/Wisconsin game last night, and the supposed juggernauts did not look much better than what ND has done since the NIU game. Oregon scored 1 TD against a mediocre Wisconsin. ND has a capable offense that plays a complementary system to a powerful defense. Limit turnovers and capitalize on the other team's mistakes. And score lots of points - ND scored 28 points every game since Week 2, and only allowed 1 opponent all year to score >21 pts.
The issues with the OL & injury weren’t foreseeable. We’ve rented a QB for 3 seasons straight and paid for a guy who is a below average passer.
I’ll add that dipshit Denbrock hasn’t figured out that Love & Proce can be on the field at the same time.
Don't be a dipshit analytical fan.
9-1
Yeh...shame on the entire coaching staff for the 9-1 record and 28-6 in the last 34 games. What a disgrace! I have rarely seen part of a fan base so invested in negativity. You must have been really great athletes and coaches in your day.
So many teams around the top 25 struggled with poor offense and closer than expected games. Suggest you try enjoying a win rather than picking apart every aspect of the game.
I give ND a 50% shot on LA at this point, and it's trending down.

Unfortunately, this is our offense for the 2024 season. If we needed a crunch time 80 yard drive , how high would the confidence level be that it can be done? Create turnovers and give the "O" a short field and stay away from FG situations seems to be the plan. The fact that this offense couldn't score from the UVA five or whatever it was is ridiculous. This is what we have to live with for the rest of 2024. It works against mediocre and bad oppenents. Not sure even if it will work at SC let alone in round one and beyond. .
I would stop targeting Faison and Collins completely. They cannot be trusted.
Harrison wants the rock, can catch it, and has speed. Use Gilbert more.
generally pretty good. Collins has butterfingers and does not know how to box out.
