Keep it to short verticle, not lateral throws. That has worked and has been a big difference-maker.

35-7 is better than 35-14. I think he understands that. Not nit picky because as the run for the roses continues, everything matters.
He's a competitor, but when your schedule is this weak you need the optics of a lot of blow outs.

Two things about that..

2. They were gifted that score by a long pass that was dropped but ruled a catch and refs helping UVA get a play off quickly before it could be reviewed.
Agree. Leonard is run first, makes wrong read a lot, and throws ball inconsistently if not poorly.
If opposing teams stack the box, play action with a read option to either hit a quick slant or a QB run if the DE crashes the inside run. He can do that. Also, get Price and Love on the field at the same time, please.
Certain receivers drop balls more than they should, but Leonard isn't a gunslinger, and asking him to make contest throws, thread a needle or put zip on the ball with any regularity is asking more than I think he's capable of.
One of the Board's long-standing gripes about Kelly from around 2012 to 2017 was that he would try to fit players to his offense rather than designing the offense to the capabilities of the players.
