They start with Miami, Texas AM, Arkansas, Boise - in the first 5 games. The new QB will struggle in the begining - get better as the season goes on. If they can get out of the gate, 4-1 (easier said then done). They'll be fine. The defense will give them a good shot in all 5. The defense is young, 6 returning starters, another 6 with a lot of playing time. The defense could be better next year if Golden stays and they can find a DL or 2 in the portal. The offense should be better, with the OL returning, RB's returning - just need a wide out (Hopefully Williams or a portal guy) and the QB to mature.

their butts.
Minimal game experience.
That does not bode well for next year

spring game then the first four games of the season doesn't seem like a recipe for success.
If he is a deer in headlights then that would be trouble. If he plays with poise then things could work out. From what I've seen and heard to date, I'm leaning towards the poise side.

Are at a disadvantage with the little game experience when called on next year. Every year a new QB does play great without any prior game experience but since we have pounded so many teams this year one would think we could build some meaningful experience for someone.
I can’t believe Angeli didn’t play more this last weekend

This year was an anomaly.
We will ALWAYS be able to build a strong schedule, despite what the morons say.
