It wasn't just Freeman. They specifically mentioned 21 other "top" candidates, as well as several dozen more names of who to watch.
If any ND-related guy gets a another HC position in the NFL, it's much more likely to be Matt LaFleur (already Green Bay's HC) or Tony Weaver, since those guys have been coaching in the NFL for quite a while.
