The irony of that prose, great as it may be is that the Irish only won 13-7.
1924 was an interesting year to be at ND. First the brawl in the streets of South Bend with the Klan earlier in the year, then the Four Horseman game and the creation of their their mythical status, then the undefeated season and finally the Rose Bowl win and the undisputed Natty.
