Penick's and Rice's were critical in winning the NC those years.

Brooks was unbelievable that year. He had a great rookie season in the pros too. Then he was in one
of those competitions with other running backs and severely pulled his hamstring and was never as good again. He is working at ND now and is always very cordial when approached for conversation.
