In '88 Ron Christ (Harrisburg Patriot) had ND #5 in final vote. Also '88 David Jones (Centre County
Times) had them #3. In different articles he called ND fans "Irish Yahoos" and Rick Watters, Rocket Ismail and Ned Bolcar "Benedict Arnolds"....

Big Ronnie was lip locked on Joe’s member. Jones and Joe Pa had a tense relationship.
David was a big Suckeyes guy. All 3 despised the Irish. Jones recently retired after taking Ronnie’s job when he retired.

Yep, that's exactly what I was talking about below in response to Donny's other post..
If he puts us at #5, still one spot below our actual, we'd be tied with PSU for #3...if he ranks us #4 we're ahead of PSU for #3.
Hopefully the playoff committee gets this right on Tuesday.
