Mills is out for the remaining of the season. The way Freeman has navigated this season amid all these injuries is a testament to his resolve and the teams resolve. Also, a testament to the recruiting and devolpment of the players. How much better, would the D be if they were near 100% healthy?
UGA's gonna run up the middle all day. Bout the only thing ND can do is throw a lot of bodies at the LOS and hope the offense scores a lot of points early.
UGA is ranked #96 at 129 rushing yards / game.
For reference, ND is #10 with 222 rushing yards / game.

You know they are going to run the rock for two reasons:
1. Test ND's front without Mills.
2. Take pressure off the Second String QB.
Sell out to stop the run and key the backs and tight ends to bail out the QB on dinks and dunks. They are not throwing deep on the ND secondary.
The good thing is that ND's secondary allows Golden the ability to set up the D to stop the run.

It's why it baffles me why so many transfer. Injuries are unavoidable.
Terrible year for injuries. Bad break after bad break.

Losing him hurts a lot, since having that big body at the 3 technique tackle made it difficult for the finesse o-linemen to block him.
Thankfully, we have Gabe Rubio ready to go, so we at least have another talented big body to put in there. Still, we're going to need one of the others to provide some relief, maybe Armel Mukham.
Sell out on the run and force second string QB to force the action. He dinked and dunked with his limited time during the Texas game. Be nice to have KVA back at 100% to track him down when he runs.
