Still can't figure out what Cignetti was doing?

Time to move on to Georgia - but I watched the game one more time last night. This guy is supposed to be some offensive guru - just ask him. He ran sideline back shoulder plays against man defense and his guys were blanketed all night. He ran 2 slants - one was open - bad pass; and the other was covered. He never went back to it. The biggest surprise was he never ran a bunched set or a rub. You would think against man coverage, he would look to run a bunch set and pick a guy. Golden never had to make an adjustment. It was one pass after another to a covered reciever on the outside. OK - who cares - Georgia time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the other team is dialed in and focused, nothing will really work. As long as ND made them drive the field, they weren’t going to consistently put enough good plays together to score.

This game looked a lot like Army and navy. Didn’t take long to realize IU didn’t have the horses

To keep up.

Maybe he called Brian or Tommy and asked how they would handle an offense vs a big time defense?

My point was it looked a lot like how we played, rather conservatively trying not to lose

I think our current mindset is very different. Hope the aggressiveness grows each year offensively
