First round TV ratings not that great so adjustments will be made for 2025.
It's all about the presidents with these people. Youth travel teams, HS playoffs, college, professional. Different branches. Same tree.

Agree we don't need 12 teams. Disagree it's not that important
Realistically, only six teams deserve a shot this year: Oregon, Georgia, Texas, Notre Dame, Penn State and Ohio State. That's it. Some years it might only be as few as 2-3 teams, and even this year's six is a rarity.
Right teams is about right, or even six with the top two getting byes.
