He's not coming back for a 5th year. There's nothing for him to gain by staying for another year.
There's no doubt that the talent at Alabama this year under Deboer's 1st year was as good as Saban's final year. I don't see it getting quite to that level for 2025 either.

The fact that Anthony Richardson is still on the Colts' roster only reinforces this. He passed for less than 50% accuracy this season, 8 TD, 12 INT. For any other QB, that would usually mean getting placed on waivers.
Some team will look at Milroe, see an excellent athlete with a powerful arm, and think that they can mold him into something better. Maybe they can, maybe they can't, but if he's still on the board in Round 2, someone's going to scoop him up as a project.
