Sounds impressive. But, how many times has any team had that opportunity until current setup
I suppose if a team is in a conference championship game, they would have close to that opportunity. But, playing a week zero game in August is relatively new. They used to have the Kickoff Classic played in August, but there were no conference championship games at the time. So, the vast majority of schedules, until now, started in September and ended in November with a bowl game in either December or January.
But, its good to be the first

It’s gimmicky but interesting. Demonstrates a high level of play over the long haul to some degree.
…but does require a very specific set-up.
