"Eli
There are a lot of ways in which these teams are similar. Both rely on shutdown defense, both want to run the ball first and foremost, and both want to use turnovers to change the game in their favor. Both have elite running backs, and good, but not great, wide receivers. Lastly, both are dealing with injuries at this point.
There differences begin at quarterback. Notre Dame has a shifty athlete, but maybe not a proficient passer. Penn State has a prolific passer who does just enough with his legs to keep the offense moving. Next, Penn State does have a threat through the air in Tyler Warren, something Notre Dame doesn’t match to the same degree.
There is one team that these two have in common, and that team provided the blueprint on how to address this defense. If the Lions can replicate what USC did, paired with a defense leaps and bounds better than that of the Trojans, they should be good to go."
Penn State 56, Notre Dame 17
Yah, I think rather not.

Who has a mediocre defense at best. AND PSU has nowhere near that receiving talent. I’d add that for some reason Golden played zone that SC game and our D got burned.
Purdue. We went there the week after NIU and beat them 66-7. They played the Boilers at home and won 49-10.
This will be a close game. No one is getting anywhere near 56. Dude is just losing his grasp, he’s so happy PSU is there.
