I like our situation better.
So happy we have Freeman. He was a great decision. Remember the anti-Freeman comments on this board? Where are they now? Always thought MF was the right choice now.
I also said that he'd go through growing pains.
Still, in his first three years, he has already won 4 bowl games, beaten multiple top 10 teams, and elevated the talent level of the program.
He did all of this while completely earning the respect of his players. They absolutely love him, and would run through a brick wall for him.
It's a different attitude compared to the Kelly era, where players who weren't part of his "Right Kind of Guy" posse were constantly in fear of being benched because they pissed ol' Purple Face off.
He took it one game at a time when he could not lose with 10 more chances to lose. Now he has won three playoff games and I would not count him out for a fourth. Plus he does it with grace, class and intensity. We have gone from having the least liked coach to the most liked coach.
