What a gritty freaking team, the first half last night they were absolutely manhandled and somehow were only down 7 points. It is not a pretty team to watch but it is a team that is going to scratch and claw and do whatever they can to try and win a football game. Getting boat raced by Alabama in the BCS first half seems like a lifetime ago, I dont think this team will beat OSU but they will show up and that alone shows me they are better coached and deeper, and with the injuries they will have to be. Go Irish, I am fucking hungover

PSU's two extra days of rest were a real advantage... but somehow we found a second wind.
We'll have one extra day of rest over whomever we play in the Natty.
I expect our energy level to be higher for the final than it was for the semi.

Penn State's roster was a lot healthier in terms of sickness and injuries.
A matchup between these two teams with healthy rosters would have been much more in our favor.

The one thing they have going for them against OSU ;is that they know they beat them last year and blew it. The will probably be reminded of that often.

Yes, I believe we will see much stronger play by the Irish a week from Monday. The time off to rest
and physically recover will make this team look very different than the team being pushed around in the first half (and sometimes second half) of last night's game.
