Use the hopeful shtick. Otherwise tone it down.

No hard feelings, but it was his choice. He’s a Gator.
Criticize him for running his mouth. I think it’s stupid as hell to criticize Howard at this juncture. Zaire rightfully should be called out and rebuked soundly for that. It’s dumb.
He attended Notre Dame and got his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame. Like it or not, he’s a Notre Dame alumnus. I give him credit for that.
In this day and age of college football, going to another school as a graduate transfer in an attempt to take a shot at the NFL does not make you a “Gator” or anything else absent additional circumstances.
(“Crimson”? Might as well add Longhorn and Badger long as you’re piling on.)
Again, he left to go play for Florida. I think that’s great. Don’t blame him. Heck, I’ll congratulate him.
But I don’t view him as a ND football alumnus, just as much as don’t view other non football playing ND graduates as ND football alumnus.
He left when he had eligibility. He forfeited that status. Not me. Pretty simple.
Couldn’t really be any simpler.

Malike was a bust as an ND QB. He has ZERO room to yap.

He was very good, going 19/22 with over 300 yards and 3 TDs at home against Texas in a 38-3 blowout before breaking his ankle.
The broken ankle ended everything for him.
He has also remained a huge proponent of ND and has gone on to a successful career in the sports industry.
Don't be so quick to belittle former players. Malik is someone that we can be proud of.

hurt him. He also had no help around him at Florida while trying to play on that bad knee. He had thrown another bomb for a TD to Will Fuller in the Virginia game and was leading us down the field against Virginia, as Prosise scored on a 24 yard run the play after Malik broke his ankle. He was intelligent and hungry to play. Obviously he still loves ND. He was a good student too.
I doubt the tweets of a 2-game starter will move the needle much for the Buckeyes - he's no Brady Quinn.

Again, the broken ankle changed everything. Hardly a bust - Kiser just played too well to sit him.
In any case, yapping is nonsense.
Not how I'd define a bust.
He’s yapping at Howard who is a NC caliber QB.
He called tosu soft last year.
He has no gravitas. He is merely yapping to draw attention to himself. Very small timey.

Read Zaire’s comments. He’s a classic wannabe unnecessarily trashing Howard to draw attention to himself.
It’s stupid.
Howard has gone a lot further than Zaire ever did.
