Back in 2021, when he announced he was fleeing, at first, I was pissed, since we had a chance to make the playoffs.
Looking back at that now, it worked out for the better, regarding Notre Dame. He built his own glass ceiling (lazy recruiter, favoritism, doghousing many a promising talent, etc), and blamed the University for his problems.
He'd throw players under the bus, especially the ones that Charlie Weis brought in (except for Tommy Rees).
