Some coaches are content to do the same thing year after year at the same place. Others like to continually have new challenges.
Golden strikes me as the second type. What else can he do here that he hasn't already done?

It might be true but SI has become the National Enquirer in sport media.
I'd be surprised if he went back to the pros since he didn't need to go to college to become a pro DC.

His stock isn’t going to get any higher. If he wants to be a college head coach again or go back to
the NFL, he’s gone.
Whatever happens, MF better have a short list for the position just in case.
