I would love to see McCullough elevated to OC as well.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Yeah, all he did was get the D to play three levels above their talent level

Golden, except for last nite, had a great season, and a great 3 years at ND. Kudos to him.

He could not make up for the talent deficit. He took a gamble and lost on the 3rd and long play.

Dude they were 7/7 on 3rd down in the first half… that’s schemes and coaching

So what would your solution have been? Sit in zone and let them pick us apart?

Which is just what they did when we sat in zone.

Love Mickens and think he is ready but ND needs a proven DC if/when Golden leaves

Love Mickens and he is ready to be a DC somewhere, but I think ND has to get a proven DC if Golden leaves. Look at the OSU coaching staff. They threw money at Knowles at DC and Kelly at OC. Kelly had an absolute field day with Golden last night. They might have scored 50 if he was going against a first-time DC.

I doubt Denbrock goes anywhere. Golden is gonzo, unfortunately.

Couple of dumb calls last night, but otherwise was the better of the two coordinators.

I'm curious to see how Denbrock uses Carr.

TBD. Have had a hard time distinguishing whether our O limited by Leonard or Denbrock

I no longer assume Carr is definitely going to be QB1

He missed so much practice time and was just getting back to 100% around the Natty. Steve Angeli has made plays every single time he's been given an opportunity. ND loses the Orange Bowl without the FG at the end of the first half. I think he is going to give Carr all that he can handle. I also wouldn't discount Minchey either. He's probably the biggest long shot but in terms of having a true dual threat, he's the best option.

I tend to think Carr's injury was pretty serious. A lot will come down to the OL. If ND needs a QB

running and scrambling, I'm not sure Angeli is the one. From what little I've seen or more often read, Minchey has a world-class arm but isn't as careful with the ball as he should be. It will be an interesting Spring.

throughout the year I was expecting more creative ways to get the ball in the hands

of the most dynamic players. I didn’t see that. Unsure if that’s a denbrock thing or something else.
