Their main points:
- ND had an "easy" path to the title game. IU sucked, GA had the backup QB and Penn State was mediocre. (All are legitimate top 10 teams.)
- Freeman hasn't accomplished any more than BK did. (Freeman more top 10 wins in three years than BK in 12. Won 3 postseason bowl games against top 10 teams to BK's 0.)
- ND 2024 couldn't beat pre-NIL SEC champs. (Like diminishing Xander Schauffele's two majors because he wouldn't have beaten Tiger in his prime. Since when if you're not historically great your success should have an asterisk?)
- ND wouldn't have made the 4-team playoff. (No, but neither would Ohio State. Doesn't that show the flaw in the 4-team system? And by the way, ND beat two of those teams, something BK didn't.)
- Same old ND, losing by double digits in title game. (A title game where the outcome wasn't decided until late in the 4th quarter, unlike BK games that were over by halftime.)
- Freeman inherited a Ferrari BK left him. (Hmm... wasn't LSU better than Notre Dame the past two years?)
In short, a bunch of jealous, classless a-holes on that board.

Right now, it's more of pure frustration on their part, since they've had two 9-4 seasons, and a single 10-3 season. They're expecting Brian Kelly to put forth a team that rivals Orgeron's best team, and the disappointment is starting to rear its ugly head.
If he has another 4 loss season with all of that talent, then the Brian Kelly fatigue will get to the point where they'll be chanting "Purpleface has gots to go!"
party to mess it up.

I'll take last night, the 13 game win streak, and the 3 playoff wins along with all the off season ridicule anytime. Wilbon made a special point of bringing up all the Detroit Lion injuries. Let's see if he does the same with ND. Meanwhile, we all have to man up with what we all saw last night. For some reason, it wasn't a great shocker to me.
We needed an almost perfect game to beat them, we made too many mistakes.
