No, it was more a product of Notre Dame's run and timing actually probably helped ND here
If this happened like 2 weeks ago, the impact on Junior Day would have been MUCH greater. Everything was already planned out so Bowden's departure probably just has more of a shock value on today's visitors than anything else.
