Not sure Co-D coordinator sounds good. Hope Mickens stays. His group has been spectacular.

I think Mickens is ready. I don't like a Co-DC arrangement.

I think we will lose Mickens if we don't promote him to solo DC.

This sounds a bit odd. If Mickens stays I can see this arrangement but if

Mickens isn’t staying for whatever reason then I think we need someone more proven.

Is this guy only being considered to help Mickens or regardless of Mickens stays or not?

If hiring this guy makes Mickens leave, then this is a bad idea. Lots of wheels turning here.

agreed. Not sure why you say Mickens is ready and then bring someone else in. Sort of tastes bad.
