Any theories on why ND has trouble recruiting elite D linemen?
We seem to do fine with O lineman. Is it just our reputation for successful development in both cases? Somehow we need flip the momentum on this trend to get to the next level.

Mills was an AA this year. ND has done fairly well on the edges and there is depth.

Kind of a catch 22. Kids need to see you put DLs in the league but you gotta land em before
you can coach them up. I'm not sold on Wash's ability to recruit, let alone develop them.

Need to put some guys in the first round of the draft and on 1st team AA lists. B Mo changed
CB recruiting, Estime changed RB recruiting. I think Young could be that on DL. Need a WR to step up next year. Big wins help, too. I truly believe ND is getting ready for a Holtiz like run.
