Review: ND pulled top OC from LSU, a top RB coach from PSU, a top LB coach from NFL under Freeman,..
and those coaches who left went to the NFL.
In the Transfer portal, we took a starting senior nickelback from Alabama, a top 2 draft round field wr from VA, a starting senior DT from Louisville, a starting TE from Arkansas (there is some back story here but still...), the best returning senior WR from Wisconsin, and a forecasted starting DL from USC.
ND lost a fifth yr senior OL center and a 5th yr senior OL guard neither of whom would be likely starters this next year given the massive amount of talent in the OL underclass ranks. We also lost a 5th yr roll-specific Wr who would see less PT next yr, and a 5th yr WR who never quite achieved what he had hoped so far.
For fairness, I will add that we lost a recruiting coordinator to USC.
Overall, these are special times we have with Marcus Freeman right now folk. Please remember to enjoy them.

Much as I hate to say this Penn State has a great returning cast but we could still beat them. So I
am still hopeful.
