not classify them as 5 stars, but as they develop they become elite football players. Jeremiyah Love is a great example of that.

Who do you view as the current ND 5 star caliber athletes? (I distinguish 5 star athletes from great college players (like Kiser/Cross) as their talent translates to Pro Bowl type success in the NFL, as well.)

Jeremiyah Love
Bryce Young
KVA
Jaylen Sneed
DeVonta Smith
Possible OL

For Charles Jagusah, though, he's going to need another year, since he basically missed almost all of his freshman and sophomore years with injuries.

If he can have solid years in 2025 and 2026, I think he would be a big time NFL prospect for the 2027 draft.

Way Too Early has Jagusah #19 to Chargers. Drew Rosenhaus will be his agent!

Do you think Jagusah and Wagner could be like Alt & Fisher in a couple years? Both 1st round grades?

Offensive tackles get a lot of style points (draftability) if they're capable of playing both RT and LT in the pros. In the case of Charles Jagusah, he could play either tackle or either guard position.

He has the perfect lineman's body, and excellent athleticism, along with already good technique. If he has a couple of good years, he has a great chance of being scooped up on the 1st or 2nd day of the 2027 draft.

For Aamil Wagner, though, it's going to be tougher. He's playing at 290 lbs, which is rather light these days, and that's even skinnier, considering that the man is 6' 6". I don't think he has the frame to pack on another 15-20 lbs, since he's already going to be a true senior. If anything, it was a battle to get him to 290 lbs. He came to campus tipping the scales at barely 260 lbs.

I could see his being a LT in the pros, since he has very good quickness, mobility, and understands leverage very well. If he's paired with a mauler of a LG, then he would be in hog heaven. I don't think the scouts are going to see him as RT material in the pros, though, since those d-linemen are bigger and stronger at that level.

I'd guess that he's a day 2 or day 3 pick.

Price and one might be able to add Greathouse/Malachi Fields/Carr or Minchey to that list as well.

I exclude our freshman actual 5 star Will Black and others until they prove themselves.

I know some might argue for 4 stars on some of these, but look at the freaking talent we have!

Traore... who would have thought they would be as elite playmakers as they have become. Not highly rated coming out of hs, but put in the work, got an opportunity, and showed out!
Who will be those guys next year? It is fun to think about.....

He started as a true sophomore in 2024, and was playing like a polished veteran.

I don't regret Peyton Bowen's decomittment at all, seeing how Shuler has become a very fine player, and is very hungry.
