Not surprising for us, since we saw the man step in for an injured all-star, and not miss a beat.

Amil Wagner listed in top 10 returning OL, and Malachi Fields an honorable mention at WR
There are others, such as Bryce Young, who could certainly be on that list, but I figure he'll let his performance do the talking.

KVA, Bowen, Sneed, Ausberry, Tuihalamaka, etc., are all higher level talents. This isn't even considering Madden Faraimo or Anthony Sacca (he's a really smart player), either.
With Coach Bullough mentoring them, I'd expect any of them to be top notch.
Others might do a thing or two better overall, but he's very good.
I'm interested in seeing Sneed play with the extra weight, he's reportedly not lost a step with the extra size.
He reminds me a lot like Demetrius Dubose. A lot of people were wondering why he wasn't starting as a sophomore full time, but he still had to learn about tackling angles, pass coverages, and not overpursuing.
In the mean time, Don Grimm filled in very nicely during 1989 for an injured / suspended Mike Stonebreaker, and also filled in quite nicely in 1990 for Dubose while he was learning on the job. He didn't have nearly as much athleticism or talent as Dubose did, but he was one hell of a smart player.
Even in 1991, Dubose still had some relapses of overpursuing the target, especially during the Michigan and Penn State games.
It wasn't really until 1992, his senior year, that Dubose became the total package.
I'm hoping he's put it all together this year. This should be a very fun year, and hopefully the injury bug gives us a break this year.
