His career is now in jeopardy (neck).
Maybe he can have another couple seasons.

God give him strength to heal and deal with the situation.

I was just happy when he was able to move his fingers and toes, and that he was able to walk after that freak neck injury.
I don't want them to rush his comeback, until they're absolutely certain he can play in a relatively sound manner.
He's a great player, and an even better man.

If he can walk away from the game, and live a normal life, then he will have been blessed by God almighty, at having been given these amazing opportunities. He is, and always will be, a great ND man.
I still get bad memories of another Cleveland Browns player, Thane Gash. The man was a mid round draft pick, but was quickly become a fearsome force, hitting people with such impacts that Ronnie Lott could be envious.
Unfortunately, he got his head slammed on the ground, and sprained his neck badly. There was a big time question of whether or not he could play again.
He got fusion surgery, but was never quite the same player. I'm just glad that he walked away from the game after one season with the 49'ers, since he could have easily been crippled for life.
The way I see it, if he can simply life a "normal" life outside of playing football, then I really hope he does so, rather than risk becoming a paraplegic or worse.
