Game gets pushed earlier in season. I don’t care when we play USC as long as we arent forced to squeeze in all our top competition to a September schedule.
Are there other locations that might benefit us? We hit ACC country each year. Florida or Texas work the years we don’t go to CA?
College football landscape is changing and old traditions are being abandoned regardless of whether anyone likes it or not. I think our new AD has the right mindset to blend new arrangements if we are forced to move on from a USC series. The Clemson deal shows flexibility and forward thinking in an ever changing landscape. It takes 2 teams to make a series work and it would seem conference schedules and details might be a major roadblock to our scheduling long lasting series against ‘rivals’ outside of the ACC.
I know I'm a bit of a Catholic school homer, but actually developing a tradition with BC would be nice (though I'd have the bias of the front end of the season).
For Thanksgiving, why not renew the Miami rivalry.
Fredo deserves nothing.
If ND never played them again, I'd be giddy.

We should never be at their beck and call.
Discontinuing the series hurts them much more than ND.
We'll meet them in the CFP every few years.
That's enough.
I did enjoy the Michigan series but it was USC that I looked forward to the most.
