This is a big get. Especially if O'Brien commits today as well. The D backfield is shaping up nicely.
That 1992 team was absolutely loaded at the DB position, with several future NFL starters manning the positions there (Carter, Burris, Taylor, even Wooden). It even got to the point where a true freshman Bobby Taylor was just too good to stay on the bench, and John Covington (5th round draft pick in the 1994 draft) got bumped to share time at WLB.
We already have three firmly established quality starters (Moore, Gray, Shuler), a lot of true sophomore talent from that class of 2024, and what I thought was our best DB haul in a long time with that class of 2025.
On another note, both Christian Gray and Leonard Moore were really high on Cree Thomas (came from same school as Ben Morrison), saying that Thomas could be better than either of them.
