As many top talents as we can take
With the scholarship and total roster size limits at 105 now, I suspect that any number of walkons who have no chance of seeing the field, or a lot of lower level scholarship talent buried in the depth chart (won't rise above the scout team) will take medical retirements and / or academic scholarships.
Either that, or they'll hit the transfer portal if they don't put a premium on that ND degree.
The class of 2026 is a deep class when it comes to talent.
