Hard Rock Stadium logistics

Did any of you attend the Orange Bowl, or been to any events in that dump recently?

I'm not driving, and Miami's public transportation system looks like dog shit. People die trying to reach the rideshare zone in the ghetto, and even then, it's a crapshoot finding a ride

I'd like to try Brightline to head north after the game, but I don't trust "free shuttles" to and from the station over in Aventura.

Usually, I'll walk to a better locale to then find my way home, but that looks impossible down there.

If anyone has any tips, I'm all ears.

Sounds like you’re thinking of the old Orange Bowl which was just west of downtown

This stadium is nowhere near the actual city…it’s in Miami Gardens. Not the best but certainly not the ghetto. You clearly have only seen the crappy parts of Miami.

I think every part of Miami is crappy.

It's flat, hot, and humid.

Not my jam.

Exactly. There are some gorgeous areas of the city. Not to mention all the beautiful Latinas.

Some of the most expensive homes in the entire country as well as the islands between Miami and Miami Beach that are home to people like Brady, Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and many others.

Now are there some rough parts of Miami? Of course, just like every major city in the country.

It’s also one of the most diverse cities in the country as well.

I didn't see anything that made me think it was a dump, it was actually pretty nice, but we had a rental car and our hotel was over in South Beach.

We were at a super nice hotel and the lady at front desk flat out said she doesn't advise we go outside on the streets at night.

So my advice would be either drive in or get a rental while there.

The old Orange Bowl Stadium in its time was a disgusting dump and completely befitting of the U.

There for the 89 debacle. That and the Dodger Stadium bleachers were the only 2 places I ever felt unsafe at a sporting event. Of course being an Iggles fan I always wear my colors to the Linc so no issues with those arseholes.

As long as they expand service that night.

I'm staying in Fort Lauderdale and flying north the following day.

Brightline provides shuttle service between the station and stadium.

Taking the bright line for a cruise this month so I can't help you there yet. Stadium not really in the ghetto. Right off the highway.

Thanks, I think I'll drive it.
